simple?.

It is many assignments recently..While I am doing research for one of the assignment, I saw this..A simple but creative picture..:)
It is creative because with only few of objects and elements it create the feeling of emo and lonely in this picture. hmm..a girl with a cat...standing in water...under a road light..wont it make us feel lonely?..besides, the composition of the picture is nice..it make whole picture wont look empty although with only few objects..like from the left, it using warm and cool color to create the sky and the cloud..it make it wont so empty although without objects there..
I always wonder why with only simply objects can make a thing look so interest..maybe next try i should try on the use of elements of principle..maybe it inspire me a different level of technique?..:D

Meitu.

Meitu xiuxiu..hmm..A creative photo software..It make you can edit a photo more easier.

Just need some clicks, you able to change the style of your picture..like picture above, the original photo is on the left. but with some simple steps, it can creates the feeling of HDR just like picture in right. First, you disfog 80 % and change sharpness to 100%..crop the picture of sky and paste on it.Next, click the button of HDR then it done..easy right?..such a creative software.
it make people that dont know photoshop can edit picture easily too..

It inspire me that if you dont know something and nobody for you to ask, you might try other ways like replace with using other materials. it make thing easier better then you wait the help that come late.

chess.

Remembered when I was child, I always play chess with my brother when weekend. Although I m the one who always lost, but i never give up..I dislike the feeling of lose, so always will I try to play to gain at least 1 win. haha..Chess is an hobby for everyone and not only child. It is count as strategy game, you need to use your mind to think for every steps you walk. Every steps can decided the win and lose. An easy game but mind exercise..creative right?

hemmm..not easy..Now, I look back to the chess i saw different things..The design, use black and white to show opponents is very suitable. this 2 colors is the most extreme colors inside the color series. Besides, the design on chessmans very nice..using geometric shape on each chessman. For example, cross is using on the queen chessman. circle is using on soldiers...simple but nice..

It inspires me that creative dont means must be complicated, an simple design can be creative too.. so think from simple before go complicated:)

Potted plant.

Potted plant.. is a hobby that can relax a person mentality.. I saw a series of photo..is about how to pot a creative plant:) First put some small stone under the pot..those stones is to make hole for the water to flow out. After that put soil on it.Next, choose the seeds and sop in water..Let the seeds absorb some water and put it in the pot..arrange it nicely. And then put the small stones again on it.  After you done all the steps, care it every day..u will see it grow like in the picture.:) It is very creative for doing something with editing on steps,you will get something different. It inspires me maybe i can think some different thing in add on my ori steps. Maybe i can get something different in the end?:)

Contrast.

Batman batman batman..Because of the movie, I keep heard this around me recently..Although I haven watch the movie but I feel interesting too.. Batman was always in black colour clothes. So, I think if he stand in front of bright color, he will more yeng~..haha..appear this picture pula..hahaha..

Just like in the picture, warm color and black color will produce a very big contrast. it will do to emphasize the black color(batman) more. It inspires me..if wana make something people will first look at it..just do like what in the picture..:D haha..experiment!..

Panning.

Last weekend, I was watching oylimpic London 2012. hmm..and I found some news related with the oylimpic. hmm.. I saw a photo of my favourite football player, Fabregas.

 I was wonder how this photo taken, why is only Fabregas is in clear mode but the background is blur. So, I did some research online. ohhh..Just found that this was actually a photography skill call panning. it inpires me that I can use this skill in my last photo assignment. Never try never know, so I did an experiment. I followed the instruments..Focus on the object which is moving and then move the camera same direction with the object's direction.At the same time,click the capture button. Haha..this is what I get==..not so obvious to show the panning skill..I think try more will improve my skill?:)

Sea.

Last weekend, I joined a trip went Pulau Redang..It is just nice to take a break for city people.
But unfortunately my friend had injured his leg from first day, so I accompany him and didn't join the snorkeling activity. It was just too boring to stay in the room, so I tried to take a walk around the beach.
I took many photos around the island. After dinner, i went back to the room and checked the photo..

When I saw the photo of the sea. I just found that it was actually not only 1 color for the sea colour. It can be say as analogous color. From the far of the sea, it was actually dark blue and slowly become light blue and finally become sea blue. As I know, it is because of the depth of the sea, different depth of sea will effect the refraction of sunlight. So, the deep part of sea will have darker color.

It remind me that I can do not only one value of color for the sea..it look like line by line on each part of the sea. I think i can try this theory also not only for the sea..maybe sky or anything. So, just try it next time ;)

layout pages.

I am learning on the way to do layout recently..I did some research on it..hmm..Just found that waooo..it is actually cant done in many way to get a nice layoutO,O.. Typography look like is quite important in a layout..An interesting typography can attract people to read at the article. I found that the one which the words follow the line of the girl is very interesting..It attract me successful..Besides, the colours look important..A repeating colours make harmony of the pages. but a contrast colour make emphasize on something..like pink colour in cool colour pages emphasize it. Opps ya..Composition also important..Control on the space can make the composition look better..hmmm.. inspires me a lot with those researches...:)

Chinese Craving

It is such a boring weekend..I have to finish the order from the clients..It is actually my part time work,earn a little pocket money?..haha...I remember i learned this few years ago..from my brother..chinese craving..e..means craving on the stone and form the words..it was actually a kind of stamp from chinese traditional...We always use it in calligraphy..It look easy to crave..but actually it contain a lot of deep knowledge behind..For example, it contain 7 type of knife skill to crave the stone.If u careless,it might broke the stone..although it was a little broken..but u have to redo..what a such tough work right?..So the only way be careful..haha..when I do this..it examines my patient and skill..I think this is interesting because it actually using calligraphy in 'Qin' dynasty. The shapes of those words are always in a vertical rectangle. And those lines is very thick and hard.
It give me some idea that I can try different things in my typography. Different of lines and shape can change feeling and expression giving by a typography.:)

Weiqi.

It was a day..I went to my brother's shop. hmm..I was actually just sit  there and feel boring.

After a while, I tried to walk around..I saw weiqi in my brother's shop..hmmm..feel interesting..I just stopped my step and ask my brother..hmm..an interesting game from China..it was actually a game with 2 players..who tried to use black piece and white piece to eat each other piece..At last which pieces with many will win...

since i was so interest and my brother tried to play with me..

and this is what happened.

but I accidentally found that it was quite pretty between colour of black and white pieces..They formed a nice contrast and just match with each other..especially u see the 'road' of pieces on the chessboard..I think I found some idea for my assignment:)

Apple is not simple.

1 day 1 apple health promised?..haha..I not remember where I heard this..but anyway,this was first time I use soft pastel..hmm..soft pastel is actually like a cork.it become powder when you use it on the paper..quite fresh for me..first time i using this such like powder to do a drawing..e..everything must start with the easiest right?. so I chose to draw this apple,as i thought it was easy..but actually not..when I First time use soft pastel to draw...omg..so many powder on my paper..wth..but slowly I found that soft pastel is not bad to play..haha..fingers are using to screw the colour..slowly and patient..finally my apple produced!..but my sister said it look like tomato.Is that real?-.- Conclusion,soft pastel must be use slowly and careful. Cant put too much color at each time..slow and steadily..even a dot of colour can produce a line. I will try my best to master it:)

3rd blog

I had take part in a calligraphy competition. Hmm.. It is actually a nice competition because I learned something which can improved me.

When I was producing my calligraphy work, I realize something.

I saw the line in my words.hmm it was actually combine by thick and thin line, weak and strong line,straight line and curve line. I played the line element as well as in the words. I found that it can produce a different feeling of work. Furthermore,I using the space element too. Although I didn't arranged purposely for the space and composition, but I feel I get something from the flexible arrangement. It is actually important as space can make a work look nice.

Hmm..But to do well in this changing of element, I need at least a nice skill in calligraphy.I think I m not enough for this and I will try to improve it:)

By the way, I get first prize in this competition.As my opinion, skill is not only the main point to do a nice work.

Remember <fast and furious five>?.The place in brazil with full of houses at the hills. e.. favela..opps ya..called favela..:) when I saw the place I feel that I must try to draw one by myself..feel like challenging.
ngam ngam one of my assignment is produce a work with building as title. so just do it!:)

By the way, I feel regret when at the half way..why this picture so hard to complete?.
using color pencil as media is really challenging for me><..
but in the end..teehee:) satisfied..

I like my work!

It was month ago, I was given an assignment to make a album. First, I was facing problem to find the idol for my album..hmmm..there were many choices for me..but the problem is which is just suitable for my album?..lastly, I choose Avril Lavigne because of a song. <I wish you were here>..This song make me feel interest to understand more about avril. So I decided to choose her..haha..next step will be do more research about her. hmmm..

17years olds, people skip class for play,but she went from Kanada to UK to create songs. When others comparing results in school, she was challenge herself to get TOP song in America. When other girls was make up, she playing guitar. She success to make herself to be popular rock star in the world. She have her own style. Pop & rock. next generation of britney spears.

I using different emotions of avril to design this pages. Next, I using her rock style to design the page.

The pages above is design by inspiration that there were some special elements diffuse from her. And the bottom page is design using the cloth style of avril. According to research I make, she like jeans very much.

Gothic style is also one style of avril. That why I using gothic style on her eyes.
